Gene-Disease Relationship Mining

In this project, we have to generate associations between disease and genes from various abstracts given as training dataset. The final objective of this project is to provide associated genes from a given disease and vice-versa. The main challenge of this project is the vast amount of data for training [9 GB]. We have used Lucene search and Weka for generating associations. J2EE has been used as backend. Bootstrap is used for front end development.
